About the role
As a Community Association Manager at Aurora Property Management, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of community associations, ensuring the smooth operation of residential communities while upholding the rules and guidelines set by their boards of directors. This role involves coordinating with service providers, supervising staff, and managing budgets to deliver high-quality services to residents.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee operations for condominium and homeowners' associations
- Manage association finances, including budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with governing documents and state laws
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs for community properties
- Serve as the liaison between the board of directors and homeowners
- Facilitate board meetings, including preparing agendas and meeting notices
- Respond to resident concerns and resolve disputes as needed
- Ensure proper record-keeping and document management
Requirements
- Active Florida CAM license: candidates must possess a valid Licensed Community Association Manager (LCAM) certification, as required by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation
- Education: high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Experience: previous experience managing community associations is highly preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills: the ability to communicate effectively with board members, residents, and vendors
- Technical proficiency: familiarity with community management and general office software (Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.)
- Good moral character: a background check and drug screening are required prior to employment

Compensation & benefits
- $60,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience
